media and advertising industries

September 16, 2008 – Atlanta, GA - Bright Sky Holdings (BSH) announces its new organization and focuses on technology companies that offer products and services for the media and advertising industries. Industry experts, Joe Fabiano and Jeff Singman have joined financial expert, Ron Baldwin and bring significant knowledge, experience and vision to form BSH. Through private investments, BSH launched with the purchase of Texscan NT, ICE Development LLC, and the assets of Softwave Media Exchange (SWMX).

As technologies are continuing to enable the delivery of greater amounts of interactive media, BSH has formed to develop companies and products that will help the industry respond. Internet and interactive technologies have increased consumer control and continue to provide access to greater amounts of media. Content providers, media outlets and advertisers are challenged to sustain their existing business while shifting from the traditional one-to-many delivery to the more interactive, one-to-one experience. Execution and management of interactive media and advertising is becoming increasingly complex, straining current processes and systems while creating new business opportunities.

“We must constantly innovate, develop and maintain more sophisticated systems and processes to respond to increasing levels of interactivity and the associated transactions,” said Joe Fabiano, Chief Executive Officer for BSH. “Consumers are growing accustomed to interactivity and expecting access to more media. Our industry must implement content and advertising models that enable the expansion of ad-supported media.”

The initial BSH company portfolio includes; assets from Softwave Media Exchange (SWMX), a provider of an open and secure electronic marketplace; Texscan NT, a provider of advanced advertising management systems for content providers and advertisers; and ICE Development LLC, a provider of Video On Demand (VOD) servers and software.

“We deliver immediate and long-term value, improving efficiency for our customers now while building a foundation that will equip them for the future,” said Jeff Singman, General Manager for BSH. “We will continue to invest, acquire and develop companies that provide solutions to enhance current and future business opportunities in the media and advertising industry.
